This Cookie Policy explains how Net30Hosting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on net30hosting.com and dev.net30hosting.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and security tokens can serve similar purposes. We use these technologies for sign-in, security, checkout, preferences, and optional analytics or activity notices.
2. Necessary Functionality and Security
- WordPress administration:
wordpress_logged_in_*,wordpress_sec_*, andwordpress_test_cookiesupport staff sign-in and session checks.wp-settings-*andwp-settings-time-*remember signed-in dashboard and editor settings. Login cookies last for the browser session or the selected login duration. - Customer account and checkout: the customer application uses Supabase session storage for sign-in and access to your own account. Checkout and payment-security state are separate from optional tracking.
- Your cookie choice:
cookie_notice_acceptedrecords acceptance or rejection for 30 days. The customer application also usescookie_consentin local storage to remember a rejection and synchronize your choice. Acceptance requires a currently valid cookie; an old local-storage acceptance does not restore consent after cookie expiry or removal. - Push-choice security:
net30_push_sessionis a 10-minute, secure, HTTP-only cookie scoped to the push service. It helps prevent another site from submitting a notification choice for your browser. - Cloudflare Turnstile: the Hosting offers signup uses Turnstile to check for automated abuse. Cloudflare processes necessary technical browser signals and a challenge token. A clearance cookie is used only if the site’s optional pre-clearance feature is configured. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.
- Stripe: payment pages may use
__stripe_midand__stripe_sidfor fraud prevention and device recognition, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Rejecting optional cookies preserves sign-in, the security checks used by forms, and checkout. Blocking necessary storage through your browser can affect these functions.
3. Optional Analytics and Activity Notices
Optional tools remain off until you accept optional cookies. They can include local conversion events, optional checkout activity measurement, and activity notices based on genuine confirmed Hosting offers signups. Activity notices use generic wording without the subscriber’s name, email address, location, or payment details. We do not use fabricated signup events.
Local storage may hold optional offer or notice state, including offer_start, offer_forfeited, fomo_dismissed, and fomo_coupon. Rejecting or withdrawing optional consent clears this optional state and stops new optional tracking or activity notices. It does not erase account, order, or legally required payment records. Optional analytics can still involve identifiers and technical data; a generic public notice does not make all underlying records anonymous.
We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising and do not sell information collected through cookies.
4. Email Offers and Push Notifications Are Separate Choices
Net30Hosting’s own promotional email is separate: Hosting offers email requires an explicit signup and confirmation of the email address. Push notifications require a separate choice and browser permission. Neither choice is required to buy hosting, and neither grants permission for the other.
Cookie acceptance does not subscribe you to email or push. The email form checks address syntax, domain mail-routing records, Null MX records that indicate a domain does not accept mail, and disposable-address rules. Mail-routing checks do not prove a particular mailbox exists. Following the confirmation link demonstrates access to the email address before subscription.
For push, your browser provides a subscription endpoint and delivery keys after you choose to enable notifications. A local revocation token, net30_push_revocation_v1, helps remove that subscription when you disable it. Use the push controls to disable notifications or manage notification permission in your browser. Rejecting cookies does not by itself unsubscribe an independently chosen email or push subscription; use its unsubscribe or disable control.
5. Change or Withdraw Your Cookie Choice
Use the persistent Cookie preferences control in the footer or below. Choose Reject optional cookies to withdraw a previous acceptance. Your necessary account and payment functionality stays available.
We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC). When your browser sends GPC, optional analytics and activity notices remain off even if a previous cookie says accepted. We also honor applicable opt-out rights for sale or sharing; our policy is not to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may also block or remove storage using your browser’s privacy settings. Removing an accepted consent cookie stops optional tracking until you make another explicit choice. A stored rejection can remain effective. If the preferences control is unavailable, contact support@net30hosting.com.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy for legal and operational reasons. Material changes will be announced on our website, and the Last updated date will be revised.
