Every website hosted with us gets a free SSL certificate automatically. Your site is secured with HTTPS from day one—no extra cost, no complicated setup. Certificates are issued by Let’s Encrypt and renewed automatically, so your site never quietly drops back to unencrypted.
CrowdSec Protection
Community-Driven Threat Intelligence
Every hosting server runs CrowdSec, an open-source security engine that detects and blocks malicious behavior in real time. It shares threat intelligence across our infrastructure, so an attacker who probes one server is recognized on all of them.
Fail2ban Defense
Automated Intrusion Prevention
Alongside CrowdSec, our hosting servers run Fail2ban, which monitors server logs and automatically bans addresses that show malicious signs — brute-force login attempts, SSH probing, and repeat abuse are cut off without waiting for a human.
SSH-Only Access
No FTP. Ever.
We do not run FTP on any server — it sends passwords and files in the clear, so it simply isn’t offered. All file access runs over SSH, which is encrypted end to end: SFTP, SCP, and rsync are the supported ways to move files, and server logins are key-based — no password logins.
Isolated Accounts
Jailed File Space
Every hosting account is jailed to its own file space. Your SFTP and shell access can see and touch your files — and only your files.
Enterprise Firewalls
Multi-Layer Protection
Every server sits behind enterprise-grade firewalls with strict rulesets. Only necessary ports are open, and all traffic is monitored for anomalies.
Email Spam Monitoring and Abuse Protection
Ordinary outbound email and transactional messages use Amazon AWS SES. You can use CRM software, but you must configure your CRM with your own outbound email provider. CRM email cannot use Net30Hosting’s SES-backed outbound service.
Abuse risk triggers an automatic account pause for review. Missing-mail and delivery reports help Scott locate a message and review filtering; submitting a report does not automatically allow a sender.
